Competition Categories

Junior Category (Age 8-12)

Providing a platform for young harp learners to showcase their talents, building confidence and stage experience.

Performance time: 3-5 minutes
Repertoire: Classical or contemporary works
Judging criteria: Technique, musicality, expression

Youth Category (Age 13-17)

Providing a higher-level competitive platform for teenage harp enthusiasts, promoting artistic exchange.

Performance time: 5-8 minutes
Repertoire: Include one technical piece
Judging criteria: Technique, interpretation, stage presence

Adult Category (Age 18+)

Providing professional-level competition opportunities for adult harp players, showcasing the highest standard of performance.

Performance time: 8-12 minutes
Repertoire: Diverse style works
Judging criteria: Technique, artistry, innovation

Ensemble Category

Encouraging harp ensembles and collaboration with other instruments, promoting chamber music development.

Performance time: 6-10 minutes
Participants: 2-8 people
