Katrina Wong

Katrina Wong graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Bachelor in Music (Honours), major in harp, she was under study with Ms. Dan Yu and Ms. Ann Huang.

As an active harpist in Hong Kong, Katrina has performed with HKAPA Western Orchestra, HKAPA Chinese Orchestral, Hong Kong Medical Association Orchestra, Hong Kong Amateur Orchestra and Millennium Youth Orchestra. She was also taken part for the Academy Opera, Les Contes d’Hoffmann and Gianni Schicchi. Katrina has participated in numbers of competitions, concerts and harp festival locally and internationally. Katrina has received prizes at serval competitions included, Young Musician of The Year (Finalist with Distinction Award), Inter-School International Performance Challenge with Championship (Advance Level), International Harp Festival Harp Competition in Beijing Central Conservatory of Music (6th place with honourable mention) , Singapore Asia Harp Chamber competition (Distinction Award). She has been invited to perform in the Singapore Harp Festival Youth Showcase and the Hong Kong Harp Festival. She was also one of the teaching assistants in the Hong Kong Harpy Summer Camp 2017.
