Aziliz
‘Aziliz’ is the Breton form of Cecilia, patron saint of music. Our Aziliz is a beautiful small harp, made following artisan traditions. The new version integrates our latest acoustic and aesthetic improvements. The sound box design is new, as is the outstandingly reliable, easy-to-use mechanism. The Aziliz also features a hand-carved medallion, is compact, and has a remarkable sound.
Excalibur
Many years ago, Camac Harps were proud of their Excalibur harp, for musicians in need of a powerful, unique instrument. Like the mythical sword, this harp is no longer with us. But now, Excalibur rises again, in a new model! It is a large lever harp, offering very even string tension, a specially-designed soundboard, and an optimal balance of soundboard frequencies. Its sound is huge, astoundingly rich, and even. Excalibur offers a new rapport between its new soundbox, large range conceived for all types of music, and contemporary string tension. It is a musical benchmark, offering the artist an innovative new relationship with their instrument.
Janet
The form of the Janet is inspired by the ancient Irish instruments, and the silver flash on the column is like a thousand fireplaces blazing in ancient halls. The string spacing is narrower and the tension lighter, as in the Irish tradition. These allow the harpist to fly nimbly over the strings, and produce a fantastic sound, both rich and luminous. An Irish harper always has his harp by his side, and the Janet is as light and comfortable to transport as it is to play.
Mademoiselle
This lever harp is directly inspired by our Concert Grand harps. It has the same playing characteristics, the same string lengths, the same spacing, tension, touch and playing position. The only difference is that it has 40 strings, and, instead of pedals, the superb Camac lever mechanism. A large non-pedal harp, it remains highly affordable for its size, and ensures a natural transition towards the concert harp – ideal for young players.
Ulysse
Following the success of our ultralight electric harp range, we have created a lever harp which combines extraordinary lightness and strength with a concert-quality sound. Our “Ulysse”, perfect for traveling, has a soundboard made from the best spruce, and materials used in aircraft in the structural parts. Carbon fibre is exceptionally strong and stable under varying temperature and humidity levels, and titanium tuning pegs ensure a light and robust neck. The Ulysse comes with a built-in Ischell Box® pickup system for clean and easy amplification.
