Toey Leong

Toey LEONG is a scholarship recipient of the “Cultural and Art Study Subsidy Programme” from Macao government and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in Harp Performance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under the tutelage of Ms. Amy Tam. She began her harp studies at the Macao Conservatory with Ms. Lily Li, principal harpist of the Macao Orchestra, and subsequently joined the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra to receive training in both orchestral performance and harp playing from Dr. Teresa Suen-Campbell, Ms. Edith Pun, and Ms. Natalie Man.

LEONG is an active professional harpist in both Macao as well as Hong Kong and has been invited to perform as a guest harpist with the Macao Orchestra, the Macao Chinese Orchestra and the Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Orchestra . She has also attended numerous masterclasses and private lessons with world-renowned harpists, including Madam Judy Loman, Madam Catherine Michel, Ms. Elizabeth Hainen, Mr. Sivan Magen, Mr. Sasha Boldavhev, Mr. Joel Von Lerber, Ms. Lenka Petrović, Ms. Yi WenKuang, and Ms. Shannon Shuen Chieh.
